Hi all little people of circular mining,

"Op Note: My mother took me to see this movie. I was 8 years old."

Considering Snow Person And The Seven Height Challenged was rereleased every
generation there are many, including myself who can lay claim to the same. My
parents took me along to Radio City in New York to see it along with several
other motion pictures on the big screen including Forbidden Planet that made
such an impression on me it is my favorite science fiction movie of all time.
Naturally when it was released in digital format it was archived in my
videos/movies/sci-fi subfolder. What this kid hated about Radio City was
sitting through the intensely boring Rockettes and stage show waiting what
seemed like forever before they finally got around to why I was there in the
first place.

Notes from a theatre organ enthusiast:
In the music hall itself is the Mighty Wurlitzer that has more toys in the
attic than an insane asylum, so many sound effects including a baby grand
piano, all of this in the ceiling above the procenium arch. Upstairs in one
of the NBC studios is the Baby In The Attic, a smaller Wurlitzer that
provided music for live radio presentations. Kept in working order over the
years it has been recorded many times providing record albums sold in record
stores worldwide. Once upon a time accompanied by a friend and member of the
Association of American Theatre Organ Enthusiasts, AATOE, we took an unguided
tour of upstairs. I don't know how anybody downstairs in the Music Hall could
sit in Peanut Heaven, last row balcony, the floor is so steep and the railing
so low, one slip and it's all over... EEK!

"New Jersey, the most American of all states. It has everything from
wilderness to the Mafia. All the great things and all the worst,
like Route 22."
