How did you get your amateur license? That takes a lot more time to learn
than does linux. Do you have a smartphone with Apple's IOS or an Android?
Both are linux based.
There's a full installer that's available if you have the time to answer
a few questions such as "what is your callsign" you can be off to the races
on your Pi unit in no time flat.
