Hi K.O. and readers,
I should mention between the Model T spark coil and some radio misadventures
Frankenstein Laboratories now a division of Altec Communications was born. My
partner in ceime Kevin and I held the neighbors in "shock and awe" to borrow
a phrase with loud explosions and clouds of smoke by day, arcs and flashing
lights by night. We survived.
"Naw, back then it was almost impossible to kill a kid."
And now we have laws that "kill" their parents.
Oh, Jean Shepherd's stories of his childhood adventures inspired several of
mine. And why not? His electrical adventures also led to Amateur Radio.
