Hi all,
Just a small VW Beetle correction in case you didn't spot the obvious
mistake. In 1977 it was banned in the US but NOT for safety reasons, it had
met US standards all along. It was banned only because it failed to meet the
new emissions standards imposed by the newly formed Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA). That was the year all cars became "California cars" so called
because California had the strictest standards the EPA adopted as national.
"New Jersey, the most American of all states. It has everything from
wilderness to the Mafia. All the great things and all the worst,
like Route 22."
