Actually I'd say things such as social media, web blogs, etc have done more
harm to packet than axip/axudp links have... both ham AND CB alike. When you
look at how many robotic messages vs how many are actually written by people
on here that sort of explains what's going on. I don't think people have
become that quiet that they're not writing messages... but that's just my
personal worthelss opinion :)

What I do here is I allow more than just a couple to link in BUT what I do is
reject any of their neighbor nodes so my own nodes listing stays within a
single screen and I don't lock in their paths so if the path to them drops
then in a certain time their node will clear on my end until they come back
and broadcast themselves again. Users can connect to any of my neighbors if
they wish to explore the nodes (axip/axudp/RF) by connecting to them from
me. Using minqual helps in this case a lot.

For those who wish to see a flood of nodes, I run my old X-net node with
INP3 but I don't import it's nodes tables to my main netrom system. I've
done that for a good 15 years and it's worked out well. I find it funny that
nodes I haven't run in 10 years occasionally still appear on the INP3 cloud.

If you google it you may be able to still find the Software2000 specs book
in .pdf. The old NEDA annual was also a great book to read. I have a copy
of some of the old NEDA publications on my website at
https://www.n1uro.com/neda/
*Warning the annual is quite large and will take a while to download! Thanks
to KD2DEW for them.

Yes nagging accomplishes nothing nor does it solve a thing.
