The latest version of tncemu found at https://github.com/pfiliberti/tncemu
now has support for kiss protocol. This is interesting as I ran direwolf
and used the tnc emulator to connect to it's tnc port and it provided a
complete working tnc for me, built in bbs and all. I spoke with a younger
ham who told me he had never even seen or used an older tnc and wanted
to play with it to learn what these devices could do. It's old tech but
still does a lot. The emulator provides complete z80 emulation of the
original tnc code on a linux pc or raspberry pi.
