When I saw the mention of your 19" Motorola,Warren. I immediately thought,
" WAS IT ntsc ?"
iN THE LATE 60S AND EARLY 70S I remember a cpuple of custo,ers complaining
about the terrible quality of the pictures.
Trying to explain that they were coming from the Moon, then converted to
tje US system, then sent across the Atlantic by satellite and finally con
verted to te PAL system for the UK. did no good. They were payimg so they
wanted perfect [ictures !
I too had powerful muscles through carrying a 26" TV u7p several flights
of stairs. Most of tehm weighrd over 1 CWT (112 Lbs).
My present TV is a 42" which I can pick up with one hand as it weighd pn;y
5kG. Talking of weight, modern women are gigantic and obese, where as the
customers we had around the days of Apollo were feminine. slim and
friendly.
They are finally repeating Star Trek TOS. Remember those uniforms ?
