That could be the case, but again, Im not sure. I would appreciate if there is 
any other suggestion on where to check to find out if it's me then I would be 
happy to go after it.

yes, one reason could be the one expressed above by N1URO.

Surely the 'F>' occours 'always' between two bpq systems;
and reasons may be several:

- the no fully *compatibility* among winbpq, linbpq and
  pilinbpq

- the very wide versions running from 6.0.14 to 6.0.19
  which are very different for features, html support,
  etc ...

- only a very few systems are setup with the B1F/B2F
  protocols as expected, but they forward in simple
  text mode ...
  
- the worst, for me, is that discussions and tests if
  any are confined only on internet mailing list and
  in packet radio too ...
  
I can do my tests thanks to the fact that I own two
distant official amaterur sites and three official
callsigns and so I'm authorized to run non attended
automatic and numeric systems ... :)
