Yes, and not knowing how it even works becouse a friend ham programmed it with a
codeplug.
i'm also on DV but atleast a real ham mode D-Star and refuse to use a hotspot.
Due to lack of repeaters in my area i setup one myself years back now..
Even on 23cm :)

Interesting, when i have setup the new pole for the repeaters here i will look
into a HF antenne and take a look at HF packet or even pactor.
Have a couple of AEA tnc's that can do the job.
Not finished fooling around with this nice mode for long :)
