So, for those interested. I was able to use socat and connect
up to direwolf running on another machine on my network. I just
set KISSPORT 8002 in direwolf.conf, and then ran:
socat PTY,link=/dev/ttyq2 tcp:192.168.1.132:8002 &
on the linux ax.25 machine, it works wonderfully. From there I
just used "kissattach" and I have been in buisness.

Look for CHBNOD on 7.104 MHz. I was also able to keep jnos
connected to the same instance of direwolf, so they are both up
there.
