Hello All:
For the past several weeks, we've been working with Kantronics on a
workable firmware update for the KAM XL, and after several beta-tests,
Kantronics has announced today that they have a new version that
addresses:
1) The KAM XL locking up and resetting. This was traced to a problem
in the Jheard Long command on both the Ka-Node and PBBS logins.
2) KAM XL suddenly stops transmitting in KISS mode on either port.
Both of these issues have been addressed and the KAM XL now appears
to be functioning as intended.
The Firmware is downloadable at the Kantronics website, under "SHOP"
then "Software and Updates". Click on the "KAM XL Firmware BIOS Update"
and proceed to checkout. The firmware download is free of charge.
If any issues are found while running your KAM XL, please don't

issue.
