Hello, all BBS users...
I have a suggestion that I would like to make about sending 7Plus files sent
on the network.
I would like suggest that we use '7Plus' as the TOPIC when addressing those
messages, so the messages could be sent to 7PLUS@WW, 7PLUS@EU, 7Plus@USA and
so on.
Instead of using PIC, IMAGE, FOTO, MUSIC, etc.
There are reasons for my proposal that we can discuss:
1- It's easier to just download messages of one topic than to track multiple
topics.
2- All those messages are of same nature; they need a decoder software to
collect the peices and convert to an actual file.
3- For the SYSOPs who don't want to receive those messages on their BBSs,
it's easier to just reject messages sent to a specific topic than using
badwords list
4- It's just more convieniet
Just a though and a suggestion. It's not a rule or anything... but maybe we
can develop some sort of a convention.
