This is the most misunderstood sentence:

> remember Ham Radio is all about experimenting.

While yes it is, it does NOT mean that one ham can place the risk of thousands
of others in jeopardy. The effects of this is worse than the covid virus
because so many mails have been forwarded around the globe in an extremely
short period of time. Is it ok for me to drop the F word in bulletins and
have guys forward it around the globe world-wide? NO!

If a ham desires to experiment, they should do so OFF OF THE PRODUCTION
NETWORK and in a private laboratory environment. NNTP in particular with
their alt.binaries sections should never EVER be linked into packet!.. EVER!
If NNTP is to be used for mail exchanging, it should be restricted to 44-net
use ONLY. This is why we have 44-net to begin with! At least you can feel a
lot safer that posts originating on there are from licensed hams who one would
expect would honor their regulations and those of others.

However since this "virus" has emerged, the only safe thing for everyone else
to do is to delink JNOS and do not forward with a JNOS partner. I'm not saying
what transpired was intentional in nature - in fact I'm sure just the opposite
was true however putting our licenses at risk via accident is not responsible.
