Due to a colleague wanting to add the WWW packet info retrival to
his system but being a little out of their depth on the technical setup
I have created a telnet bridge that can be easily added to any modern
system that can open a telnet connection linked to a callsign.

BPQ, both Win32 and Linux support this, to add this functionality to
a BPQ node, add a new application line definition as follows:

Please obviously change the callsign and netrom alias to best suit
your needs.

APPLICATION 4,WWW,ATTACH 3 static.ehvairport.com 63008 S,N3MEL-8,MELWWW,255

Description breakdown:

4 is the next available application line number, max of 32 in BPQ.
WWW is the node command that users can type on the node to use it.
ATTACH 3 is a statement to attach to the TELNET port configured in BPQ,
this would be the same one that you see your user credentials and CMS
setup. Make sure to pick the correct port (use p to list them).

static.ehvairport.com 63008 is the host and port where the service
is listening for connections,
S after the port from the above means (S)tay linked after quit.

Following that should be your callsign and a free SSID
After the callsign is the netrom alias you wish to use
255 is the quality of the netrom node insertion for this service.
As it is local to you, this is 255.

The first initial connect to the port expects the node to send
the current users callsign, bpq does this automatically.

If you implement this using the linux ax25 stack you will have
to work something out on how to send that first, perhaps writing
your own wrapper script using 'expect' tool.

Please limit useage to Amateur Radio purporses, everthing is
logged anyway, but its your responsibilty to operate within
the rules set forth by your license.
