Good Evening Bob and all on the net.
Nothing really exciting to report. Didn't do a heck of a lot, just played on the radio, a bit of JS8, some
VARA CHAT, PACTOR in the mornings,
called our NOON-TIME net every day...except Saturday, as coffee went into overtime and I missed it.
I managed to check into the OLIVIA 16/1K net on 3598 USB at 03:00Z most weeknights.

Hi Bob and Rick!
I'm in Norman, OK for a few weeks looking after a couple of our grandkids.
Haven't done much radio, but did look in on the Route 66 on the air
event the last 3 days when I could. Was able to trade FT8 signals with
11 of the 22 stations. Hit some of both ends of the route, but was too
close to many of the ones near me in the middle. Probably would have done
better if I had started last weekend when the event actually started.
The two grandkids are girls in 2nd grade and 4th grade. Bought a couple
of simple "learn to solder" kits and taught them to solder over the
weekend. They did really well, and will better than me by a long shot
in a week or two. I'm so shakey anymore....
Sorry to hear your flagging days are over for the year, Bob. Have you
ever been able to get your Corvette on that track?

It has been a slow week. Waiting for some rain later tonight (hopefully)
Jackie got her freeze dryer this weekend and she started a freeze dry cycle this evening
The vacuum pump and freezer comination is impressive
