Hello Packet World. How many of you are operating your radio ports with
open squelch? And if so are you using a software modem or the modem in
your tnc i.e. Kantroncis or other older tnc? And if so how are you
accomplishing this? Does your TNC have the older STATE EPROM in it from
TAPR design containing the DCD Detection State machine logic? Or is
there some other magic you are using. I'm just curious as I'm studying
the state machine logic in the old TAPR EPROM (like a PLL) and may
attempt to design a smaller solution inside a pld. Cheers es 73
