Good Evening Bob, it's bee a pretty good couple of weeks.
Working on lots of projects, don't know if I'll get them finished.
Something always pops up to distract. Today I handed a new ham a PK-88 TNC and interface
cable I threw together for him.
Maybe I'll get some packet activity on my node afterall.
On the HF front, I've been playing with VarAC, HF Packet, Robust Packet, WSPR and a
couple days ago
I got interested in ALE. I downloaded PCALE and fired it up, have it scanning a bunch of
frequencies, early days yet...
Gas prices are nuts, hate to think what your San Antonio trip cost...or did you fly?
We're going to take it easy on trips for a while, have to save up for the gas...
Looks like 80M is working for me again. I've participated in the local Olivia 16/1K net
every night this past week
with really good signals from all parties.
That's about it. So BTU Bob >>>

GE Bob and Rick!
Last week consumed with house sitting for daughter and her family. Looked
after a toddler and their 3 dogs (plus our dog) while they took older
3 kids skiing over spring break. They had a great time, and we were
totally wornout by the time they got back last night.
Home today before the rain settled in. Will likely get a couple of
inches of rain before it is all over.
Hoping to get thinks worked for PiGate over VARA FM this week. (Got
it to work with RNC-Pi hardware and packet 1200 a couple of weeks
ago. That worked well, but there are options to download weather
images and 1200 is just too slow for that. It times out before
the file is transferred.
The PC-ALE sounds interesting. I need to check it out.
Thats all for now. BTU Bob>>>
