Hi Kevin,

your packet program as per other past or actual
applications is able to sit and run on the 32
and 64 systems (platforms) but the AX.25, and
so the 7plus application, are coherently based
on the 8 bits and using the following ASCII
format for its encoding/decoding:

Character-table:
---------------------------------
 !"#$%&'()*+,-./0123456789:;<=>?< 20-3F
@ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[\]^_< 40-5F
`abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz{|}~<  60-7E
䅆ďܛ< 80-9F
< A0-BF
< C0-DF
<  E0-FE
---------------------------------

So, to summarize, the 7plus is symply an ASCII-encoder:

from its conception, the Packet Radio protocol (AX.25) is an
8 bit system. When only using 7 bits, the protocol is only
used to 87.5% of its capacity. When encoding data only using
a 6 or 7 bit algorithm, an unnecessarily high overhead is
produced.

7PLUS is able to perform the following tasks:

- exploits the capacity of the network fully by using all 8 bits,

- creates the 7PLUS code lines in a way, that when decoding
  them, it can determine if a line was transfered correctly,

- detects and protocols what lines were damaged or missing,

- simplifies the exact rebuilding of corrupted files, by
  using a mainly automated method of correcting (with
  minimal cooperation between sender and recipient).

I am making a program for Packet that runs on 32 and 64 bit systems.
I trying to get 7plus to work and get "Bit 8 has been stripped! Can't decode."
Code is in C# and C+ on github
Does any like to try to help me please.

Please reply or email me at kevin@na7kr.us
