I have two old NEC PC-8201a's that the contrast is shot on the screens.
I am wondering what vintage palmtop or something that I could use to
replace as a TNC serial console. They also make nice portable TTY's
for headless Linux/UNIX boxes when I am trying to configure them for
TCP/IP networking. I may be able replace electrolytic caps to get it
running again, and I plan on looking into that. However, I am wondering
if there are some other devices that support RS-232 with a screen and
a keyboard. I don't really care about the vintage, but just having a
low battery consuming LCD terminal is really handy for TNC's and
serial TTY's.

Thanks and 73 de Chris KQ6UP
