Hi,

As I prepares for JY1SAT, I will be making some changes to the data
warehouse at data.amsat-uk.org, this will affect NAYIF-1 uploads
for short periods.

Dashboards will reconnect automatically each time the server comes up again.

Thank you for you patience.

As part of the preparations for the launch of RadFxSat on November
10th, AMSAT is making our ?Getting Started With Amateur Satellites?
book available for a limited time as a download with any paid new or
renewal membership purchased via the AMSAT Store. This offer is only
available with purchases completed online, and for only a limited
time. A perennial favorite, Getting Started is updated every year with
the latest amateur satellite information, and is the premier primer of
satellite operation. The 182 page book is presented in PDF format, in
full color, and covers all aspects of making your first contacts on a
ham radio satellite.

Please take advantage of this offer today by visiting the AMSAT store
at https://www.amsat.org/shop/ and selecting any membership option.
While there, check out our other items, including the M2 LEOpack
antenna system, Arrow antennas, AMSAT shirts, and other swag.

Thank you, and see you soon on RadFxSat!

Hi Mac,

I?m very glad to help! I remember that pass last year, if I recall just a
little after Field Day, and I remember that 100th on some grid line in the
middle of nowhere. It should be no problem to get you Alaska in the next
couple weeks!

I?ll still be roving around, just way the heck up there now! Maybe a bear
too? I should be able to get around the CONUS occasionally, we?ll see though.

and Canadian grids in the near future, and, dare I say, UA0. Juneau is
undoubtedly remote (only access by air and sea), so for most days I?ll be
isolated to CO28, but I will no doubt make many excursions. I know at some
point in the spring I?ll be doing some simulator training in Anchorage. I?ll
definitely get around, so my northern roving is just beginning! There are
ferries and seaplanes and ASA flights leaving from Juneau every day, so I?ll
be able to get around! The terrain in Juneau itself will definitely pose a
challenge, but I?ll be doing my best to find the good spots to work from and
make sure anyone theoretically within range and capability gets Alaska and
CO28 on satellite!

David, PJ4/NA2AA was heard and worked here yesterday (afternoon and evening)
on XW-2F and FO-29. There was a minor pile-up during the FO-29 pass. Be
sure to get on and work him. It's important to keep the satellite DX
stations busy, so they enjoy their time on the air (and go back to do it
again!). And you won't get that many chances to work PJ4 via satellite.
And it's probably a new grid square if you're not looking for DXCC entities.
