Sounded great on the 2039 UTC CAS-4B pass on May 4! Thanks for the contact.

Hope you all have a great weekend & hope to hear you on other satellites.

Solar City (the company who installed my my neighbors Solar Edge system)
said the same thing. I later learned that there were several other cases
pending. It may also be that some decide to live with the problem and
not to do anything about it. With so many solar systems being installed,
I find it hard to believe the problem isn't affecting a large number of
hams.

There is an ever growing problem of noise intrusion on many bands that the
FCC does not appear to care about. Even if we do all the leg work, RDF'ing
the source, and 'giving' the data to the FCC they do nothing.

+S40 FM white noise blanking a wide area of 2meters. Just to the west of

Why are they only installing the proper RFI suppression methods on the
installations that someone complains about?

They should be putting these RFI suppressors on ALL of their installations.
The cost of the necessary components must be negligible compared to the total
cost of the installation. Is that modern business practice nowadays?

I had no idea there was a MS-EET. I still have no idea what it really is
other than a technical degree. I certainly appreciate the studies required.
What I don't appreciate is the snobbery.

You can tell us how "smart" you are but the real sign of intelligence is
mentorship.

I?ve worked just over 100 contracts through LEO Satellites, mostly on my
Icom IC-910H using SatPC32. Easy enough, but I?d like to use one of my SDR
receivers for the RX side. But I?m not certain how to go about it.

Can I simply route the RX antenna to the SDR and use the IC-910H for the
uplink? How do I get them to track together and compensate for Doppler? Do I
need to protect the SDR from the RF levels on the TX side (even though it
will be on another band?)

Searched Google for ?How to? articles, but haven?t found anything very
helpful. If someone has a link or just some advice, I?d be most grateful.

I?ve got an Elad FDM-S2, Airspy, SDRPlay RSP-2, and others to try this with.

This is how I did it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALv2EQ4T8hU

The SDR was on the other side of a duplexer, and that provided a decent bit
of isolation. If one were to have separate antenna's and a duplexer, I
would think that would be sufficient isolation.

SatPC32 talking to HDSDR or SDR# as a 2nd radio.
