Hi Folks,

Today I got the brilliant idea of ??wanting to receive the packet with my
Kenwood TS-2000X with its internal TNC while the SatPC

program was loaded but I noticed that launching the terminal program I had
the COM port error of the when already in use.

Now my question is: is there anyone with the same configuration as I was
able to receive and decode the packet while using

the SatPc program?

What if you want to interact with the ISS while it is in packet mode?

Any help will be really appreciated

Hello Vincent,
the problem you have with the internal TNC of the TS-2000 has nothing to
do with SatPC32. When the 9k6 Pacsats UO-22, KO-23 and KO-25 were
operational (about 15 years ago) my friend Guenther, DL9BU, and I worked
these sats using the Symek TNC 2H and TNC 3S and Wisp32 for data control
and SatPC32/Wisat32 for rotor and radio control without any problem.
Several users ran these combinations? around the clock using the auto
select features of Wisp32 and SatPC32. We - particular DL9BU - also
tried very intensively? to work these sats using the internal TNC of our
TS-2000s, but no success. I don't know any one who got the internal TNC
working for satellite packet operation.

The problem is there is only one comport on the TS-2000. You can use it to
use the internal TNC with a computer, or you can use it for Doppler control
with SatPC32. One or the other. But, you might be able to set the TNC up to
beacon un-attended and use software to control Doppler via the comport.
Never tried to do it, but it should be possible...

I wasn't trying to make a political statement, just trying to say what would
possibly work, in as few words as possible. I stand corrected :-)

Hi,

I'm programming the channels of a 2m/70cm HT and I need to update the
FM frequency of sats both in 2m and 70 cm.

I know there are new birds and I don't know the freq.

Thank's in advance.

What would be really helpful is for the amsat summary page to be updated
with a table of common AOS/TCA/LOS frequencies for each Sat.

I don't have my notes but IIRC there were 1 or 2 (SO-50 an/or perhaps
AO-85?) which were off from the original published center freq's (then again,
perhaps I'm not remembering correctly).

The published SO50 frequencies are ok, but AO85 is off a bit, but I can't
remember in which direction.
