I lost the specifications of their Lunar orbits.

I remember they were highly elliptical orbits.

But even with the highly variable distance from the Moon, From our
viewpoint here on Earth, How far away from the Moon does it actually
get? 1/2 a degree? 1 degree? Or what?

In other words with typical Amateur antennas beam widths, why not simply
use tracking data for the Moon itself?

Hello Amsat-ers

I am using an Yaesu 5500 rotator controlled by a Lab jack under Satpc32
v8.1. Intermittently the rotator stall under computer control. The LED on
the lab jack indicate a signal to control the rotator to move but no
movement. Terminating Satpc32 the rotator works normal. Suggestions??

Same here, beginning a week or so back. Investigating, but so far nothing
determined. Using WIN7 64-bit, and wondering if there was something in the
recent updates.

Please NO!

My primary reason is that I receive E-Mails from around 60 E-Mail lists.
Some are quite active and some go weeks without any messages. I can
guarantee that I am NOT going to go to 60 different forums several times per
day to see if there is something interesting to read. E-Mail lists may not
be the best solution, but they don't require massive effort to go get the
information. With some E-Mail sorting in your E-Mail client, it is pretty
easy to organize messages from an E-Mail list.

Alan and Nick,

If you think it may be update related try the "Run as Administrator" option
(right click on the desk top icon then <Run as Administrator>. This has
been solving a number of issues for me lately, all related to Windows
security changes to be in compliance with the new EU privacy laws. It is a
long shot but it costs you nothing and if it doesn't fix the problem at
least you have discovered one easy thing to do that didn't work.

If this went to a web page forum, I'm gone.

John,

Good suggestion, but "unfortunately" I already run it as an administrator.
Bad security practice, but as you say, it can eliminate odd problems.

The Meltdown/Spectre patch has caused a noticeable performance hit on my
machine, even though it is very capable. I am wondering if it may be
causing a timing problem? Fortunately the problem only occurs every 2-3
days, but is annoying for unattended operation. SatPC32/Labjack have been
running flawlessly for literally years.

73,

Alan

Hi Mike.
Understood.
Program Tracking CC block request exact file, path is not enough.
I should to change every day/ two days Program Tracking CC setting for
each demodulator?
Or I do not understand something?

Regards.
