Hugo,

As regards SO-50:

The advices of John (KG2YSI) are much more relevant than mine as he is an
expert in portable satellite work and have made many successful
demonstrations of same, more experience than me with portable work anyway as
being a time to time portable OP.

I was never successful to work SO-50 portable (Baofengs, 2W & Arrow),
however perfect on it at main QTH station with 5W (transceiver minimum), 30M
of RG213 into a 15 ele X-yagi.

acceptable signal with only 50 mW on empty relatively high elevation passes.
It does has a relatively weak downlink though (250 mW).

Wei,

Thanks for the update.

I got everything working today, but could not try decoder with the raw file,
getting error c?RuntimeError: file_meta_source: Could not extract sample
rate.?. Also change my 30m 70cm feeder from RG213 to Heliax 1/2? to get some
more dB and also put a better preamp for some reasons, hopefully it.

Could you please send the link for the updated radio info page mentioned in
your mail as cannot find it?

Will monitor tomorrow morning and hopefully receive some signal?

Hi Jean,

Which recording and flowchart did you use?

for 2MHz recording, you should use frontend_dslwp_replay.grc in
gr_dslwp/examples.

replay_dslwp_gmsk_250bps_0.5_coherent.grc in dslwp_dev is used for 40kHz
recording.

Best Regards,

Wei

I'm having an issue with the USB drivers for my IC-9100 WIN10 1803 setup
that I'm setting up for FD. Odd thing is I have it working on other WIN10
PC's running 1803. Is anyone having the same issue? I'm trying to setup an
HP Spectre PRO x360 G1 i7 laptop. I've tried all the fixes online and none
seem to work.

I just corresponded with Johnson Space Center ARC W5RRR on Twitter. They
are going to try and contact Nevada Space and Science Center. The center
will be using callsign K7RC. It's only 5 degrees for them but they will be
demoing to boy scouts and other guests.

JSC will also be on the air as a part of NASA On The Air:

replay_dslwp_gmsk_250bps_0.5_coherent.grc in dslwp_dev is used for 40kHz
recording.
