Hi Luis.
I have use 2M2CP22 antenna as H and V with coax for each polarization
routed towards the end of the boom.
I have change F-type connectors on the each dipole to the N-type.
Antenna was connected to the external polarization switch box, all
system was works GOOD, have many sat and EME QSOs.
If U do not need CP antenna why U bought it and not 2MXP22.

GL with ur project.

Hi Dimitry

Thanks for info, I decided in those antennas because I bought it at very
good price in the Italian M2 dealer and never thought before that it were
so expecials, the 2MXP22 are a good choice but to much long for my
project, I want to work SSB contest and satellite.

Hello,
the user reported that he could fix the problem.
The solution: A self powered USB hub betwen a USB port of the laptop and
the USB cable to the IC-9100. Apparently, the the voltage was no longer
sufficient when he had? connected all devices directly to the laptop.

I have HS_sound modem installed and AGwe kiss.

But are those the correct programs and what settings should I use. They are
both on 4k8 GMSK.

Ross,

HS_sound modem works very well for the CAS 4A and B, actually these birds
are the easiest ones to decode, very strong and huge amount of data. You may
wish to use DK3WN decoder and forwarder to upload to Satnogs and enter the
race for amount of data uploaded and help the Sat operators.

Hi Everyone,
I'm doing a short trip this Friday / Saturday to FN05 to my sisters cottage
in FN05 north of Toronto, ON, Canada.
I'll be activating on linear and FM sats.??
I've put a schedule on my qrz.com page of the passes I'm planning to
activate from FN05.? I may be able to sneak in a few more, but these are the
ones I can promise at this time.
Cell reception at the cottage is spotty so I may not be able to post passes
to Twitter.

I've been using the sats with my Arrow and HT and am considering the jump
to a more robust station. I'm pretty well set with my TS-2000 and I can
figure out antennas, but the interwebs are a major tangle of articles about
tracking systems, and I'm having problems sorting out the info overload.

I'm in south Texas and planning a permanent installation, so weather
hardiness is necessary. This seems to me to rule out SatNOGs and Portable
Rotation systems. The main alternative I'm seeing is the Yaesu G-5500 (Alfa
Spid is more than I'm wanting to spend). Where things get really murky is
the computer interface. The GS232A is a bit on the expensive side. There
are many alternatives, but many are no longer in production or are
technically outdated.

What I'm looking for from the group is recommendations for Az-El rotor
systems and computer interfaces (I'm using SATPC32 and HRD for the tracking
software).

Thanks & 73,
Keith WD9GET
