I'm testing satpc32 for the FT991 in windows 10.I have connected the FT991
to the PC via serialport perfectly.?When I activate any satellite like the
AO-73, the transponder?frequencies appear in the upper part of satpc32 and
in FT991 as well. When I select a satellite like the Max Valier, the
frequency does notappear on the satpc32 and the FT991.This is repeated on
any satellite that has only data downloads.
What I doing wrong?
Regards.

Did you specify the frequencies in the Doppler.sqf file? Please refer to the

Hope this helps,

An International Space Station school contact has been planned with
participants at New English School, Jabriya, Kuwait

on 13 Nov. The event is scheduled to begin at approximately 10:08 UTC. It is
recommended that you start listening approximately 10 minutes before this
time. The duration of the contact is approximately 9 minutes and 30 seconds.
The contact will be a telebridge between NA1SS and K6DUE. The contact should
be audible over the east coast of the U.S. and adjacent areas. Interested
parties are invited to listen in on the 145.80 MHz downlink. The contact is
expected to be conducted in English.

Founded in 1969 (celebrating its 50th year) by Mr. Tareq S. Rajab, New
English School (NES) in Jabriya, Kuwait, is a co-educational, English medium
private school and has approximately 2300 pupils throughout both the Primary
and Secondary sections. NES caters for students aged 4 - 18 years and
follows the England/Wales curriculum as part of its educational structure.
Students achieve IGCSEs and Advanced Levels in a wide variety of subjects
prior to leaving the school and those who successfully graduate from NES
often proceed to Higher Education at Universities around the Middle East, in
Canada, USA, UK as well as other parts of the globe. STEM topics are very
popular at the school and NES places a strong and suitable emphasis on
achievement in these key areas.

Participants will ask as many of the following questions as time allows:

1. What inspired you to become an NASA astronaut?

2. What is the most exciting part of being an astronaut?

3. What personal items have you taken with you to the space station?

4. What type of research are you doing on the space station?

5. What happens when you sneeze on the space station?

6. How do you deal with an individual with an emergency medical condition on
the space station?

7. How do you cope with living with the same people in a confined space on
the space station?

8. Does an astronaut's immune system change in space?

9. What happens to the blood when your nose bleeds in space?

10. How does being in space affect your sense of taste, smell and touch?

11. What dangers do you face while on the space station?

12. What are your three favourite things about being in space?

13. What has been the scariest experience of your mission so far?

14. What was the first thing that came to mind when you saw Earth for the
first time from space?

15. If Sally Ride or Valentina Tereshkova turned up today, what would you
like to ask or say to them?

16. What will you do after your mission has ended?

17. Does acid build up inside your stomach or esophagus?

18. How does it feel when you are in zero gravity?

19. How did you feel when you woke up for the first time on the space station?

20. How do you entertain yourself while on the space station?

21. How did your family react when they found out that you were going into
space?

22. What do you miss most about Earth when you're in space?

About ARISS:

Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) is a cooperative
venture of international amateur radio societies and the space agencies that
support the International Space Station (ISS). In the United States,
sponsors are the Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation (AMSAT), the American
Radio Relay League (ARRL), the Center for the Advancement of Science in
Space (CASIS) and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
The primary goal of ARISS is to promote exploration of science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics by organizing scheduled contacts
via amateur radio between crew members aboard the ISS and students in
classrooms or informal education venues. With the help of experienced
amateur radio volunteers, ISS crews speak directly with large audiences in a
variety of public forums. Before and during these radio contacts, students,
teachers, parents, and communities learn about space, space technologies,
and amateur radio. For more informa
 tion, see www.ariss.org, www.amsat.org, and www.arrl.org.

Hi Gustavo,

Running Satpc32 12.8.d, win 8.1

?Selected Max Valier Sat, Downlink frequency blank.

?Went out and got "Max Valier Sat,145860,0,CW,CW,NOR,0,0,CW" from
Mineo's website and added it to c:/users/(your name or pc
name)/AppData/Roaming/SatPC32/DOPPLER.sqf file
(appdata is hidden so explorer must be told to show hidden files and
directories)

Restarted SatPC32

?Worked fine and Downlink now displayed.

Are you missing a step somewhere?

Hi,

Has IRVINE01 sent any telemetry, or only "IRV1" in CW ? Their IARU filing
at

http://www.amsatuk.me.uk/iaru/finished_detail.php?serialnum=504

mentions it will transmit "9k6 FSK with AX25". Has anyone heard 9k6 FSK
from IRVINE01?

Check out the audio of this Satnogs observation:
https://network.satnogs.org/observations/320591/

There is CW, followed by some digital. I don't know CW, so can't confirm
that it's actually Irvine-1. But if somebody can confirm, then it's
likely that what follows the CW is also from the same sat.

Oops, I should point out that the "CW" that is heard isn't actually CW....
it's code, but unsure of how it's modulated (looks like maybe FM with some
data hidden with it?)

The "CW" code in that Satnogs observation at

https://network.satnogs.org/observations/320591/

is "DB0WA" which is not what I was expecting from IRVINE01.
The expected CW ID from IRVINE01 is "IRV1". There's also
some kind of data, but it doesn't sound like 9k6 G3RUH AX.25.
The audio spectrum cuts off about 3500 Hz (that is, there is
almost no audio energy above about 3500Hz).

My observation of that 2038utc IRVINE01 pass produced the expected CW of
"IRV1" and the signal was much stronger than yesterday, so that's great
news!

https://www.qsl.net/k/k4kdr//images/2018-11-12--2038--irvine01--cw-decode.png

... as for possible 9k6 data on this pass, it wasn't remotely strong enough
to decode but there were definitely some data bursts in there! Here is the
best that I could do to capture an illustration of what looked just like
9k6 FSK on this pass, but again, you really had to be watching for it:

https://www.qsl.net/k/k4kdr//images/2018-11-12--2038--irvine01--hdsdr-9k6.png

(a still picture like this doesn't do justice... in real-time it was
clearly a data packet)

... hopefully the strength of those 9k6 packets will increase to the point
that they can be decoded.
