New suggestions: for AO 95 (ex Fox 1Cliff) now use object 43774, for MOVE-II
now use object 43775, and for PWSat 2 use object 43776.

Again: this may change later on when separations increase and new TLE sets
become available. Currently only 14 TLE sets have been published for the
64+ objects from this launch.

Unfortunately, when Fox-1Cliff (and all the Foxes) turns on its Tx it
starts at a low frequency and sweeps up to its nominal 145920 over the
course of a second or less. You might have heard it sweep across 900.
There would be no modulation while that was happening, and it would happen
about every two minutes.

Very nice overhead pass here in RI. Heard "Fox1Cliff Safe Mode" full
quiteing four times from 15:41 through 15:47 on a M2 Eggbeater. No
telemetry yet until I get my IC-9100 connected via the data jack on the
back.

Congrats to the Fox Team!

Hi all,

As some people have already mentioned me, it is not standard FSK AX.25,
and it cannot be decoded with direwolf, UZ7HO or similar.

Sorry about the confusion, from reading the IARU frequency coordination
sheet and the information published by ESA I expected this to be
standard AX.25, but this is not the case.

We are currently analysing some of the packets that we've collected, but
for now it is clear that the coding used by ESEO deviates from AX.25 in
several important points and the documentation published by ESA doesn't
explain clearly enough these deviations.

Stay tuned for more information.

73,

Dani EA4GPZ.

You can use the AO-95 elements from nasabare.txt, ExseedSat was on top
of Cliff in the deployer!? I'm sure they are still pretty close friends
right now.

That might be the Fox Tail of AO-95, although it moves pretty quickly as
it takes less than a second to get on frequency so your bandwidth may or
may not have covered enough to hear it for a second.? The 2 minutes and
10 second apart is a sure thing from the perspective of the AO-95
beacon, though.? Spot on for the timing.

Audio capture on 145.900 on an Exceed Pass over Buenos Aires, tracking
with http://amsat.org.ar/pass?satx=exceed

Wonder if it is Exceed or any other, will keep trying.

I am in need of a patient and experience DIY antenna elmer who can
advice me on yagi antennas and feedlines and help me think of testing
methods and how to interpret the results. If you are willing to engage
with me on an email exchange (probably a few a week) and are willing to
put up with me :-) then please do mail me off-list. I would really
appreciate it as I don't have anyone here locally who can help me out.
Thank you and 73 de Hans

BX2ABT

P.S. I do have good DIY skills, but limited resources to test: a
cross-needle SWR meter and an HT only. I already built a 70cm 7 element
yagi, I'm not starting from scratch.

Dear All,

Many thanks for all info on the APRS settings but nothing helps.

The radio sends the beacon but does not receive any aprs info on the screen
I can hear the packet sound loud and clear.

Can it be that is has something to do with US or EU settings.

Thanks for info and reply.

Hello all,

I own a Yaesu G-5500 Azimuth/Elevation Rotator.

I am noticing that it is like it is not right calibrated.

As I have to do some maintenance on the antennas, I would like

To recalibrate both Azimuth and Elevation Rotator with the control Box in
the shack.

Is there any tutorial or somebody can tell me the correct way to recalibrate
them.

Any help will be really appreciated
