I believe there are no AMSAT LVB trackers available new. But the Fox-Delta
is supposed to be a sort of clone if I remember right. LVB works fine with
SatPC32. Some day it would be fun to build one from a Raspberry Pi. <Puts

Earlier in the week I had mentioned to a few that this item would be in
the store this weekend. I beat that deadline and got it on the shelf today.

The 50th Anniversary AMSAT OSCAR Satellite Communications Achievement
Award is now online. There are only 20 of these certificates in
existence unless there is a box around here that I did not see (highly
unlikely).

Do not rush over to the story and purchase one just yet. You must first
send your LoTW or QSL card scans to me to confirm that you do in fact
have the necessary qualifying contacts made from March 3, 2019 through
December 31, 2019. After I confirm it and send you an email, you can go
online to purchase yours.

I have already received a few entries while I was under the weather.
Will be looking at all of them this weekend.

These certificates I can send out immediately as I have them in hand.
The other certificates we still need to create.

Has anyone successfully decoded Telemetry from the Fox satellites using an
IC-910H and a Rigblaster Pro Advantage? I have had no luck locking onto the
TM signal, and I'm wondering if there is a built in high pass filter that's
causing the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

It's not going to work through the RigBlaster, as it filters the low audio
out. You have to pull the audio with -no- filtering, from either the 9k6
packet port, or from an SDR without filtering.

" Some day it would be fun to build one from a Raspberry Pi.? <Puts at the
bottom of long list...> "

Just fyi - it was pretty straight-forward to implement a small Arduino based
CAT controller for a old Cornell Dublier Azimuth rotator.? The motor driver
uses a off-the-shelf transformer to power the motor and is opto-isolated
from the Arduino.? The unit connects to the laptop via a USB cable, and
works very nicely with SatPC32 as well as HRD.? I plan to add a 2 line LCD
display, just for kicks, although it is not really needed.?

Both were amateur missions from the beginning.

Bob,

I had a QSO last year with Alex N7AGF via AO-91 while he was roving
in Hawaii:
<CALL:5>N7AGF
 ?? <BAND:4>70CM
 ?? <MODE:2>FM
 ?? <QSO_DATE:8>20180304
 ?? <TIME_ON:6>212335
 ?? <BAND_RX:2>2M
 ?? <PROP_MODE:3>SAT
 ?? <SAT_NAME:5>AO-91
 ?? <GRIDSQUARE:4>BK29
 ?? <MYGRIDSQUARE:4>EM12
<EOR>
Alex was at BK29gq on a saddle at 6000 feet near Mauna Kea. I was at
EM12ek on top of a hill overlooking Granbury, Texas.? For Alex, AO-91 was
at about 1 degree above the horizon. For me, it was about 0.5 degrees
above the horizon.? The distance was around 3643 miles (5864 km).? It
is the longest DX I've ever made by satellite and a wonderful experience!
