They haven't, and apparently on android it's apparently only a trial/test
thing right now. Not everyone has it, and it ends in May. I'm hoping they
make it permanent later on in the year. Took me and another club member
about 20 minutes of googling and head scratching to figure out why he had
access, but I and others didn't lol.

I will have to try this with my IC7100 to see if it makes a difference.

Speaking of filtering the MIni Circuits BLP-200 as recommended to me by
W8LID has made all the difference for me and W4AQT when working the linear
birds using a FT-1634. No more desense and crackling and popping in our
headphones.

Hello Don,

You might also try WA5VJB's duplexer in
https://www.wa5vjb.com/references/Cheap%20Antennas-LEOs.pdf

Here's a SMT version of it: http://ve2zaz.net/Arrow_Ant/Arrow_Style_Ant.htm

I find it amazing that satellite VUCC has been around so many years, and
yet less than 500 of them have been earned!
I think there are two major reasons for the latest great increase in them:
1) We are very fortunate to have more active satellites at this time than
ever before.
2) Logbook of the World makes it fast and easy to get your confirmations
and to apply.
As for me, I applied for my first VUCC earlier this month and hope to get
my certificate very soon.

I have number 135 issued in 2004. That means 365 in the last 15 years.

9. What kind of food do you eat in space?

10. Other than Earth, which planet do you think humans could live on and why?

11. Have you ever floated outside the space station? What is it like?

12. How do you control the space station when you're sleeping?

13. Do astronauts get paid like everyone else?

14. How do you wash yourself each day on the space station?

15. What types of research are you personally involved with?

16. Did you want to be an astronaut when you were young?

About ARISS:

Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) is a cooperative
venture of international amateur radio societies and the space agencies that
support the International Space Station (ISS). In the United States,
sponsors are the Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation (AMSAT), the American
Radio Relay League (ARRL), the Center for the Advancement of Science in
Space (CASIS) and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
The primary goal of ARISS is to promote exploration of science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics by organizing scheduled contacts
via amateur radio between crew members aboard the ISS and students in
classrooms or informal education venues. With the help of experienced
amateur radio volunteers, ISS crews speak directly with large audiences in a
variety of public forums. Before and during these radio contacts, students,
teachers, parents, and communities learn about space, space technologies,
and amateur radio. For more informa
 tion, see www.ariss.org, www.amsat.org, and www.arrl.org.

I have about 144 emails and mostly posts from Dom. Scanning through them I
realized these things have value. His detailed responses to the many
questions he received have a great deal of knowledge behind them. How, and
should I make these files publicly available?
