Bob, just use FO-29, change name to RS-44, and change up and downlink

It?s in nasabare.txt and you?ll want to use RS-44 for SatPC32 to pick it up
correctly.

Hi Paul

No joy there either. I have RS-22, 30 and 40, but no 44.

Do I have to manually add it to AmsatNames.txt?

Thanks, Mike va3mw

Back in the day, there was an Amsat project to make a ham oriented S100 bus

There are numerous updates in the old AMSAT Newsletters with details about
it, but I think this Byte article probably sums up the project best.

Thanks. That's actually far more than I recall.
I was doing LSI-11 stuff at the time, and wasn't impressed by the S100 bus.

The failure of RS44/DOSAAF 85 (also known in Russia as "Radio 2017")
to separate from the Breeze-KM stage also prevented the deployment
of BLITS M1, an experimental passive laser reflector satellite.

With RS 44 now attached to the Breeze-KM stage, its gravity gradient
stabilization boom can not be extended, because that is at the side
where the satellite is attached. But fortunately all radio antennas are
at the end of the satellite that points away from the stage. Therefore
the radio equipment of RS 44 is fully operational and works well. The
CW beacon on 435.604 MHz still only sends its ID "RS44". Maybe later
some telemetry can be sent as well.
