Thanks, Roy! I thought my reception set-up was working, but it's hard to

Once I figured out the correct settings, I have had no issues with SatPC32
and my IC-9700. I think both are great.

And, I have no desense with my M2 LEO pack antennas on an 8' fiberglass
boom.

Used to be one of my favorite satellites... My son wrote a nice Java app
that ran on any platform and would give the transponder schedule, current
and future.

Haven't corresponded with Michael (N3UC, control op) about it since probably
2014... thought they had given up trying to recover it.

It's been active at times; apparently a work-in-progress.

Here's the most recent update I've seen, from a tweet this morning from

Nice clean telemetry sounds from AO-27! Almost went back inside then N3UC
turned on the voice repeater! Thanks for the QSO!!! Another new bird in the
bag. Only heard one other op on the pass... He was only turning it on at 1
minute increments...

Oops, this should have gone to the list. My two way wrist watch is acting up.
Or build a j-pole for 70cm. All these can be built inexpensively with items
from your local home improvement store. You might also contact local hams.

BTW, since it is for RX only, the dimensions aren't very critical.

If you have a piece of 300ohm TV line, I have had reasonable success
with this simple low SWR, dual band antenna, specially on the more
common low elevation passes:

Hello all,?I recently purchased a Icom IC-821H with a few issues. When first
powered up, the display has a series of dashes across it, and there is no
receive audio. After it warms up for 10min or so it will begin to flicker,
and then it comes up and operates as it should. Has anyone ever encountered
this issue, and/or have a fix for it??Thanks,?Andrew N4LAZ

Hi all,

I'm having problems with the FUNCube dashboard and the FUNCube dongle +.
When I start the dashboard and select the capture option, I see the
FUNCube Dongle option and it is not grayed out. When I select it, I get
an error box saying that the program is unable to capture using the
FUNCube Dongle. It lists a webpage to go to for help, but the webpage
cannot be found.

I just had this FUNCube Dongle working on a Windows 10 machine. I moved
it to a Windows 7 machine and loaded a new copy of the dashboard
software. The FUNCube Dongle shows up in the list of sound devices. From
what I can see, the drivers loaded correctly.

I looked at the last year or so of AMSAT-BB and didn't see any postings
relevant to my problem. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Kelley - W0RK

I would assume some electrolytics in the power supply.
