Friends,
We are pleased to inform that AMSAT-LU will be present from Rio Negro,
Argentina (1200 Km SW of B.Aires), at the eclipse event on Monday 14-Dec-
2020, inviting members and friends to participate.
It will be carried out in conjunction with the Asociaci¢n Argentina de
Astronomia and the Eclipsor-2 group, with people from the National
Meteorological Service collaborating personally.
Two payloads will rise to 27,000 meters, a sphere
http://amsat.org.ar/esfera.jpg with an IP camera transmitting live video
and another with three cameras, one of them pointing downwards to
photograph/film the shadow of the eclipse.
It is planned to launch the balloon at 10am-LU from Sierra Colorada with
reception and control base in Valcheta, two rescue mobiles will be in
advance near the estimated landing zone. Flight forecast:

It is an excellent opportunity for AMSAT-LU now as an integral part of a
project of this importance, which includes being able to record the
eclipse from an altitude of 27,000 meters, sharing the information and
videos obtained.
