Joe,

Before you do anything, exactly which file is SatPC32 using? And what date
is the file? If you are
using amateur.txt, and the date is current, then you should be getting good
agreement, though a few
satellites such as AO-85 will be missing.

73s,

Alan

Joe,

Those are good Keps, so there is no need at this point to change them until
you solve your other
issues.

Which satellites have you compared? Stay away from the ISS for now, since
its orbit is periodically
boosted, and some of the Keps take some time to catch up with it.

73s,

Alan

Another point to mention in SatPC32 is to set up is to make sure that you
have the correct time offset. In the settings observer dialogue you either
need to manually set your offset or use the "auto" setting to properly track
DST/non-DST time. Else manually set it to minus whatever your offset is for
non-DST and one hour or less for DST. The "Half an orbit off" issue probably
is as much related to this setting as anything. I normally set the offset
manually then have to remember the next time I open after the DES P change
to fix it again.

YEA!

OK, Here we go I got all of them to say the same thing.

OK The original two still agree, and agree with that web page.

SatPC32 it took the offset from Auto to manually entering for me now -5,
and Boom it too matches now.

Orbitron, Not sure whats still happening there. But if I tell it to load
TLE's and choose the one from say the Sat look down set, and use that,
it then asks to load new ones even tho that one is lie just now
refreshed. if I say yes, bad out put. But if i choose to lead the sat
look down one from nasabare, and say NO when orbitron wants to update,
then it also matches!

Like crazy huh?

And again EVERYONG! THANKS!!!

Awesome group of people here!

Hi All,

Just to report that FUNcube-1, AO-73, is now back in autonomous
operation. The transponder will be active when the spacecraft is in
eclipse during the week.

Hello gang,

What I find really odd is that I am picking up some telemetry on FO-29's
downlink when I know that bird has passed and not even in view.
Each time though I don't have my decode software online and miss what it
is.. If anyone has any thoughts about this send it along. As for SatPC32 I
haven't seen it being off as much as half an orbit unless the keps aren't
up to date. I run that along with Orbitron and have found no issues.

I will be portable with one of my 821's and my antennas, will advise where
I am and where I will be when portable in southern Alberta.

Glenn, VE6ND

I will be on SO50 and FO29 for 4 more days. Do not miss the chance for a
new grid or DXCC country if you need me. Will be on AO7B as time allows.

Hi Stefan

I would like to know what it was on the 29 downlink;), however it was
"something" on that downlink frequency. What it was I have no idea but it
was a couple of times that I picked this up and it wasn't terrestrial.
I heard it also when mobile with my 857 and a RHCP antenna.

I have also observed a digital signal that appears to be 9600 baud packet in
the FO-29 downlink transponder bandpass.
It does continue after FO-29 has gone below the horizon.

I haven't been able to determine another satellite it could be coming from.

nasabare, and say NO when orbitron wants to update, then it also matches!
