I've been collecting claimed distance records on each satellite for a
while here: http://www.amsat.org/?page_id=4751

I still need to update SO-50's since the record listed here was broken
last weekend.

Hi all...

Just wanting to know if the PE0SAT Tlm db is down, or is it just the
access site thats down...?

Not coming up for me either at the moment, John. Using a web browser, that
is.

I have not had any telemetry to upload for several hours, so can't speak to
that.

However, I've seen it not respond once or twice in the past and it came
back online an hour or so later. Assumed it was system maintenance or
something similar.

Good morning,

Sorry for the inconvenience, I 'll look into it right away.

It seems the system provider has some issues with his SAN/NAS
infrastructure
that is causing the issue.

It is dual band but not full duplex.
The model TH-D72 is the full duplex one.

Hello.

Can anyone help with the syntax in the subtone.sqf for ic-910?
I have tried "almost everthing" but the subtone are still in the standard
value 88.5
I can set it manually to 67.0 and 74.4 for SO-50.
I also see that I have to change "NOR" and "REV" manually.

Maybe some can write this line correct for Icom IC-910?

SO-50,67.0,???
SO-50,74.4,???

When I connect, and change the settings, my old TS-790 works great.

My IC-910 settings:

The following lines for SubTone.SQF are in my file for SO-50 and work fine.

SO-50,67.0,$3F,1
SO-50,74.4,$3E,3

The following in Doppler.SQF

SO-50,436795,145850,FM,FM,NOR,0,0

Make sure under MODE setup you use 60$ for the IC-910.

You shouldn't have to do anything manually unless you want to override
for a particular reason.

NO - The new US$650 Kenwood THD-74a will NOT perform in true, full-duplex
mode like the '72a. And will NOT be
firmware-upgraded to do so. There is a rumor that Kenwood might be
considering the 'D72a as a "replacement" for
the TH-F6a - again, just a rumor, but from a good source.

Want a SINGLE rig to perform U/V and V/U modes for the FM birds? The Kenwood
TH-D72a at US$390.

I am trying to work a couple more passes with the HRO-distributed Powerwerx
UV-9D(Plus) on SO-50 - to see
how well it does on both U/V and V/U FM voice modes.

PS Don't forget the Palm Springs HamFest on Saturday, February 4, 2017,
being held at the beautiful Palm Springs
Air Museum! Satellite presentation at 11am in the Major General Ken Miles
Aviation Science Center. SO-50
pass right before that ... plenty of ham history, aeronautical history, and
plenty for the family to do for just
$8 admission!

Paul,
the subtone.sqf that comes with SatPC32 should work. A reason of the
problem could be: With the American version of the IC-910H you need the
SatPC32 version for American users, with the European model the program
version for European users. The two models models are different
regarding control of the sub tone functions and with the wrong SatPC32
version sub tone control doesn't work.

The REV/NOR parameter in Doppler.SQF doesn't switch the radio between
revers and normal satellite tracking. With REV the program changes
uplink and downlink in the opposite directions when you tune around the
passband, with NOR in the same directions (only AO-07 in mode A at
present). With FM sats the setting is meaningless.
