I am also saddened by Robin's passing. He was the only AMSAT
president I ever had a satellite contact with.

Inclusivty requires just that. Several individuals have commented on
the mailing list that "Lots of people want to volunteer, not many are
wanted".

Would you like me to dig into the archives? This has been seen more than once.

Amsat's attitude is: Give me your money, now go away. Difficult to
have a group that has dissenters unless dissent is encouraged.

Been there, done that. Waste of money and time.

Given time the current crop of lackluster individuals will die off
(Tony let me play in his sandbox). Perhaps later.

Well, my experience is be careful what you wish for.

I get in these organizations and see something needing to be done and
next thing I know I'm in charge of doing it. You'd think I'd learn
to keep my mouth shut :-D

AFAIK, high power with no bars is when the radio receives +12 Volts.
Flashing bars are under that voltage, usually NiMh batteries.

Subject: [amsat-bb] Parking the rig and the antennas

Hi.
Maybe it's here somewhere but I'll take the chance to ask ....
Has anyone using SatPc32 found a way to park the rig and antennas after each
pass?
I want to set my antennas pointing 225, zero elevation and the rig on 145.600.

I did try to make a fake satellite with no result.
Earlier, when I used Uni-trac I had a satellte called "park" that did this
job.
