SatPC32 has a park option. Just click on the Rotor selection and set your
desired park az and el, then check the 'park automatically after the pass'
box. For a park frequency, just close SatPC32 and the radio will revert to
the frequency it was on before you opened the program...

Hi.
Maybe it's here somewhere but I'll take the chance to ask ....
Has anyone using SatPc32 found a way to park the rig and antennas after each
pass?
I want to set my antennas pointing 225, zero elevation and the rig on
145.600.

I did try to make a fake satellite with no result.
Earlier, when I used Uni-trac I had a satellte called "park" that did this
job.

Hello.
Thanks for the answers, all of you.

Yes, I am aware of parking the antennas done by presets in the rotor window.
I also know that when I close the software the rig goes back to the settings
before starting the software.
I was thinking if the rig "parked" at a given frequency and mode between the
passes.
No big deal, just a question and a thought.

Do what as suggested to me by the group here. I had a similar situation
and found that by putting in a GEO satellite with the frequencies I
wanted at the end of any known satellite passes. The GEO was sitting at
priority 0. When all passes are done, it goes to the GEO (has to be in
range), points the antennas (which I'm not using at this time), and goes
back to the previous frequencies I monitor between passes.

Seems to work fine.

Saint Malo, France

An International Space Station school contact has been planned with
participants at Coll?ge Jean Charcot, Saint Malo, France on 08 Dec. The
event is scheduled to begin at approximately 15:19 UTC. It is recommended
that you start listening approximately 10 minutes before this time. The
duration of the contact is approximately 9 minutes and 30 seconds. The
contact will be a telebridge between OR4ISS and IK1SLD. The contact should
be audible over Italy and adjacent areas. Interested parties are invited to
listen in on the 145.80 MHz downlink. The contact is expected to be
conducted in French.

St Malo is a city of north Brittany, surrounded by ramparts since the 12th
century, famous for the corsair sailor merchants during the 17th century.

The college Jean Charcot is named after the famous early 20th century Polar
explorer.

Since 3 years, the 8th / 9th grade students could follow a Science option at
the college including:

Mathematics and physics through the solar system, stars and spectrum
analysis, tidal phenomena, Philae lander and comets, global earth warming,
phytoplankton effect on climate, astronomy.

By participating to the ARISS project, teachers hope to make students open
to science or exploration, and proud to follow their famous "malouins"
predecessors like Jacques Cartier, Pierre Louis de Maupertuis or Robert
Surcouf.

Participants will ask as many of the following questions as time allows:

About ARISS:

Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) is a cooperative
venture of international amateur radio societies and the space agencies that
support the International Space Station (ISS). In the United States,
sponsors are the Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation (AMSAT), the American
Radio Relay League (ARRL), the Center for the Advancement of Science in
Space (CASIS) and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
The primary goal of ARISS is to promote exploration of science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics by organizing scheduled contacts
via amateur radio between crew members aboard the ISS and students in
classrooms or informal education venues. With the help of experienced
amateur radio volunteers, ISS crews speak directly with large audiences in a
variety of public forums. Before and during these radio contacts, students,
teachers, parents, and communities learn about space, space technologies,
and amateur radio. For more
  information, see www.ariss.org, www.amsat.org, and www.arrl.org.

Thank you & 73,

No, that should be 145.800 still as the Russians are doing that event and
they still have VHF capability.

No. SSTV is on 145.800 at the same time as the ARISS contact, so the
contact will be done on UHF.

Good Afternoon,

HRU, located in Bethpage, NY, http://hamradiouniversity.org/, is scheduled
for January 8th, 2017, and I could use some help.

I will have an AMSAT table, running from 9 AM to 3 PM, and would like to do
as many passes as the schedule allows.
If you are a current AMSAT member, send me an email, to let me know if you
can help out. If you can operate portable or can answer some questions at
the satellite table that would be a big help, thank you.
