Just curious if anyone has tried to use the KX3 yet with the new 2 meter
add on for satellites. I was thinking of the possibility of using it along
with some sort of SDR dongle for downlink, but not sure if SatPC32 would
support either KX3 or dongle.

I figured that since there was such a good pass of SO-50 this morning I
would try using my hand held and attempt some contacts, but the only station
I heard was WA4NVM Rick, and I couldn't get his attention. I concluded that
using the hand held was not a good decision. I will set up the FT-897 for
the next SO-50 and FO-29 pass at 1439 UTC and 1453 UTC.

SatPC32 works great with all the Fun cube dongles.

I just copied the telemetry from AO-73, Funcube-1 and the data warehouse
did not update my frame count. Has anyone else observed this problem?

Hi,

I have restarted the server, and will do some investigation.

Many thanks for the report.

setting up for the next day.

On Saturday 28th we will be live 9:00 am until 5:00 PM CST. we will have
special guests, interviews, tours of the set, watch the K6H operation.

HF we will be on 10 Meters 28.420 ssb, 20 Meters 14.250 ssb and 40 Meters
7.260 ssb. There will also be a cw station but we haven't decided on a

Hi,

I think I've identified the problem, it will take 24 hours to tell if the
fix is successful.

Basically, a problem with a querying a large table in the database that
needs to be optimised for performance. 1.3M rows!

As always, thank you for supporting the project and the feedback.

On this pass I worked AC0RA, WA4NVM, NX9B and N8IUP. I will be on again on
FO-29 at 01:07 UTC. Again, it is windy and raining on and off here on the
Oregon coast. Makes for uncomfortable operating trying to keep the rig dry.

Our road trip was completed last week. We traveled a total of about 4500
miles and were able to activate 14 grids. Radio problems kept us from
operating as N8RO/MM on our cruise and we both both were sick after the
cruise from some "bug" that we probably picked up on the boat. However, the
trip was a sucess and very enjoyable.

All contacts have been uploaded to LOTW using my call N8RO without any
portable designation. I will send out all paper cards within the next few
days to all that have requested them. I may request a few contacts to send a
paper card to me because I am getting close to the 100 portable operations
that I need for a reverse VUCC.

Many thanks for all of the contacts on this trip.

73,

Ron - N8RO
