PACKET WORDLE UPDATE
--------------------
Happy New Year! For 2024 I have introduced a new feature to Packet Wordle.
The central server now captures each day's high score winner and a small
change to the client side script displays this to the player. This change
does not affect central server compatibility for the previous version of
Packet Wordle so existing installs will continue function as they have.

In order for your LinBPQ instance to implement this new feature you will
need to replace your wordle.sh file with the one inside the
packet_wordle.zip file found at https://ve1lg.ca/packet_wordle.html.

Or if you are comfortable editing Linux text files, just add the short
code by hand. Open wordle.sh in your preferred text editor and between the
lines:

  printf "Welcome to PACKET Wordle, $player!\n\n"

and

  # display today's high score

copy and paste the block of code below:

  # display yesterday's winner
  url="https://ve1lg.ca/wordle/yesterday.php"
  yesterday=$(curl -s $url)
  printf "$yesterday\n\n"

If you need support join the BPQ32 groups.io and look for the "Introducing
Packet Wordle for LinBPQ with networked scoring" topic.

73 and see you on the score board!
