Hi Serge, Bill & All

Update: I have come to learn that this issue was not caused by the
Winlink API itself doing something silly, the update was just an
added extra field in the XML feed which should not have broken
anything, the problem was with some questionable parsing code that
didn't expect the expected (hi), he said this was the root cause and
the blame is on him hihi.

There are still some issues in the latest builds being ironed
out, these are likely all unrelated except to the major update that
extended the ports from 32max to 63 (one port is stolen for behind
the scenes rig control making it 64). This exposed a lot of issues
that used to prevent 64bit systems working properly so progress is
happening :)

There are also some issues now that people are installing on 64bit
only systems, which is the new norm now that 32bit kernels are
being depricated by Debian/Raspbian. We're relying on feedback from
users to home in on these issues.

If you spot anomalies, please contact our bug busters team on

Thats all folks,
