Owing to the ongoing and fluid nature of the COVID-19 situation globally,
announced activities might be postponed or cancelled at any time and
without notice.
4X - Special event station 4X0RMN will be active on 13-14 November from
Makhtesh Ramon (Ramon Crater), Israel's largest national park. QSL
via 4X6ZM, LoTW and eQSL.
F - Rodrigue, F8DFO will be active as TM1GC between 18 November and 2
December. The special callsign memorialises Carl F. Gauss (1777-
1855), one of the most influential mathematicians of all time. QSL

J8 - Oleh, KD7WPJ plans to be active as J8/UR5BCP from St. Vincent Is-
land (NA-109) on 21-28 November. He will operate FT8, FT4, CW and
SSB on 40-6 metres. QSL via KD7WPJ (direct or bureau); digimodes

ON - Within a decade after the end of World War I, the devastated
Westhoek region of Belgium rose like a Phoenix from its ashes, and
by the end of the 1920s the reconstruction was largely completed.
UBA Sections ARA from Gullegem and IPR from Ypres will join the
"Feniks 2020" campaign: https://www.flandersfields.be/en/feniks2020
and be active as OP20FENIKS throughout November, especially over
the weekends and on Remembrance Day (11 November). They will
operate SSB, CW and digital modes on the HF and VHF bands. QSL via
ON5YL, direct or bureau.
SV - Nine multi-operator special event stations - namely SX1A, SX2A,
SX3A, SX4A, SX5A (Dodecanese), SX6A, SX7A, SX8A and SX9A (Crete) -
will be active during the countdown to the 200th anniversary of the
"Agonas" (the Struggle), the Greek Revolution of 1821 which led to
the formation of modern Greece. The countdown will start at -99
days to the actual celebration day (25 March 2021), and a serial
number will be appended to each special callsign as follows:
16-25 December from SX9A/99 to SX9A/90
26 December-05 January from SX8A/89 to SX8A/80
05-14 January from SX7A/79 to SX7A/70
15-24 January from SX6A/69 to SX6A/60
25 January-03 February from SX5A/59 to SX5A/50
04-13 February from SX4A/49 to SX4A/40
14-23 February from SX3A/39 to SX3A/30
24 February-05 March from SX2A/29 to SX2A/20
06-15 March from SX1A/19 to SX1A/10

TA - TA0ACL, TA2FB and TA2IJ will be active as TC97TC on 29-31 October
to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Republic
of Turkey (29 October 1923). QSL via LoTW; a certificate will be

UA - Special callsigns R2020DX, R30MDXC, RA30DX, RC30DX, RD30DX, RG30DX,
RJ30DX, RK30DX, RL30DX, RM30DX, RN30DX, RO30DX, RQ30DX, RT30DX,
RU30DX, RV30DX, RW30DX, RX30DX, RY30DX, RZ30DX and UE30DX will be
active on 16-29 November to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the
Miller DX Club (http://mdxc.ru/). QSLs via RQ7L.
YI - Giorgio, IU5HWS has been stationed in Iraq with the Italian Army
since September and expects to remain there until around 20 Janu-
ary. The Iraqi Amateur Radio Society has authorized him to be QRV
as YI9/IU5HWS until his requested callsign (YI9WS) is granted by

HD1X: CANCELLED ---> The 31 October-3 November operation from the Choco eco-
region of Ecuador [425DXN 1535] has been cancelled owing to "the uncertainty
of local policies regarding mobility and other health measures". New dates
will be announced as soon as possible: https://twitter.com/HCDX_Group.
IOTA NEWS ---> The logs for the IOTA Contest 2020 island stations have now
been added to the IOTA database and are available for QSO matching. Record-
holders who have made IOTA contacts in an IOTA contest after 2003, can claim
credit for them without submitting QSLs, provided that the contact details
match. Go to https://iota-world.org/, log in, select "Add Contest QSOs"
under the "My IOTA" tab, and choose either "Upload Contest Log" or "Manual
QSO Entry".
JX0X: CANCELLED ---> The DXpedition to Jan Mayen (18 September-2 October
2021) has been cancelled. "While we worked hard for 18 months to secure the
entry permit, the permit to stay onshore, the fundraising and the logistics
- we have come to the conclusion that there are too many uncertainties
involved in this project", the JX0X team announced on 26 October. "There is
not a single reason that we cancel, but rather several reasons right up to
today that altogether makes this a difficult project to complete. We would
like to thank everybody who donated upfront to the JX0X DXpedition, and who
believed in our team and our project. You all made a contribution to have
the opportunity to work us guys next year, and you all made a difference no
matter what you donated. It is people like you who donated upfront that
makes DXing happen. Without upfront donations we will see less tent and
generator DXpeditions to expensive places. We will start refunding 100% all
paypal donations, and you should see your support returned soon".
QSL VIA PA1AW ---> Alex, PA1AW has picked up the QSLing duties for the sta-
tions previously managed by PA3CAL. These include past operations (PA143ITU,
PA200NL, PA65VERON, PA6WPX, PA80ZERO, PH100MGY, PH100SPL, PH6Q, PH75AJU,
PI25COM, PI60HQ, PI70VERON) as well as active callsigns PI4COM, PI4HQ and
PA6HQ (VERON's HQ station in the IARU HF World Championship).
ZV1M: CANCELLED ---> The 29 October-1 November IOTA DXpedition to Ilha das
Palmas (SA-079) [425DXN 1535] has been cancelled owing to adverse weather
forecast.
