The ARRL June VHF Contest <http://www.arrl.org/june-vhf> is this
weekend, and starts at 1800 UTC on Saturday, June 11, and concludes at
0259 UTC Monday, June 13. Starting with this weekend's event, Single
Operator entrants are able to enter the contest in Analog Only mode
subcategories.. The contest exchange is your four-digit Maidenhead grid
square. For more information on grid squares, visit
www.arrl.org/grid-squares <http://www.arrl.org/grid-squares>. Complete
rules are available at www.arrl.org/june-vhf
<http://www.arrl.org/june-vhf>.

ARRL Kids Day <http://www.arrl.org/kids-day> is on Saturday, June 18,
and will run from 1800 UTC through 2359 UTC. It's the perfect
opportunity to introduce youngsters to the excitement of amateur radio.
The exchange is the participant's name, age, location, and favorite
color. Sponsored by the Boring, (Oregon) Amateur Radio Club, Kids Day
is held every year on the first Saturday in January and the third
Saturday in June. More information is available at
www.arrl.org/kids-day <http://www.arrl.org/kids-day>.

For state QSO Party enthusiasts, the West Virginia QSO Party
<https://www.qsl.net/wvsarc/2022-west-virginia-qso.html> begins on June
18 at 1600 UTC, and concludes on June 19 at 0400 UTC. Contacts can be
made on CW, phone, and digital modes. Rules are available at
www.qsl.net/wvsarc/2022-west-virginia-qso.html
<https://www.qsl.net/wvsarc/2022-west-virginia-qso.html>.

==> BULLETINS

If you participated in the first ARRL International Digital Contest
this past weekend, consider sending Jeff Stai, WK6I, photos and stories
about your participation to possibly be included in the contest results
article. These materials should be posted to the ARRL Soapbox, or sent
directly to Jeff at wk6i.jeff@gmail.com. Jeff would particularly like
to hear from those who operated using software other than WSJT-X for
the FT4 and FT8 modes, and the reasons why they chose the software they
used.

As of this writing, there have been 1,133 logs received for the
inaugural event, with several days left until the log submission
deadline. Logs will be accepted via the ARRL Log Submission web page at
http://contest-log-submission.arrl.org/
<https://contest-log-submission.arrl.org/> until 2359 UTC on June 12.
