3C0 - While waiting to depart for Annobon Island (AF-039) [425DXN 1788],
YL2GM and EA5EL have been active as 3C3W from Bioko Island (AF-
010), Equatorial Guinea since 1 September.
It has turned out that there are not only ferry services to Anno-
bon, but also irregular flights. Their plan is therefore to be QRV
from Bioko until 5 September, and then fly to Annobon (3C0W) on the
following day - barring changes to their flight schedule. QSLs via
Club Log's OQRS (preferred), or direct to YL2GN; full LoTW upload
after six months. Bookmark https://lral.lv/3c0w_3c3w_2025/ for more
information.
9M2 - Jacek, SP5APW will be active (callsign TBA) from Tioman Island (AS-
046), West Malaysia on 9-16 September. He will focus on 6 metres,
but "I don't rule HF activity out", he says. QSL via Club Log's
OQRS.
G - Celebrating the 45th anniversary of the first Camel Trophy, special
event station GB45CT will be active on 12-14 September, primarily
on 40 and 20 metres SSB. The operators have all been part of the CT
Communications Team for multiple events. Camel Trophy was an off-
road vehicle-oriented competition that was held annually between
1980 and 2000. See https://www.qrz.com/db/GB45CT for more informa-
tion.
GM - Willie, GM4ZNC will be active holiday style as GS8VL from the Isle
of Coll (EU-008) on 7-12 September. He will operate CW, SSB and
digital modes on 40-6 metres. QSL via M0OXO's OQRS. [TNX The Daily
DX]
GM - Paul, G4PVM will be active holiday style as GM4PVM from Isle of
West Burra, Shetland Islands (EU-012) on 13-18 September. He will
operate CW and SSB on 40-10 metres. QSOs will be uploaded to LoTW,
Club Log and eQSL; paper cards will not be provided. [TNX DX World]
HZ - HZ95ND, 7Z95ND and 8Z95ND are the special callsigns for the Saudi
Amateur Radio Society (HZ1SAR) to celebrate Saudi National Day on
4-23 September. QSOs will be uploaded to Club Log. Based on the
number of lunar years, Saudi National Day commemorates the renaming
of the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (23
September 1932).
National societies from Gulf Cooperation Council's neighbouring
countries are expected to join the celebrations and be active
around 23 September, including the Bahrain Amateur Radio Society
(A91ARS), the Kuwait Amateur Radio Society (9K9KSA), the Royal
Omani Amateur Radio Society (A43KSA) and the Emirates Amateur Radio
Society (A60ARS).
JA - Once again Taka, JA8COE will be active as JA8COE/8 from Yagishiri
Island (AS-147) on 4-8 September. He will operate CW, SSB and FT8
on the HF bands and 6 metres (WWL QN04qk). QSL Club Log's OQRS, or
via home call.
JW - Tom, OH6VDA (LA6VDA) will be active again as JW6VDA from the Sval-
bard Amatorradioklubb in Longyearbyen (EU-026) on 12-22 September.
Activity will be on various HF bands using SSB and FT8/FT4. QSL via
Club Log's OQRS (preferred), LoTW, eQSL, QRZ Logbook, or via the
bureau to OH6VDA. Do not send direct QSLs by mail.
LX - LX25GDH (3 September-3 October) and LX25GDG (3 October-3 November)
are the special callsigns for Radioamateurs du Luxembourg (RL,

Duke on 3 October upon the abdication of his father the Grand Duke

CLUB LOG ---> "The brand new Club Log server (c/o NCDXF) is now in the data
centre, and I have finished configuration work to make it ready", G7VJR has
announced. All services will be stopped early on 6 September, and Club Log
will be down while the database migrates from the current primary server.
Michael expects it will take a few hours to restore service. "Look for a
noticeable leap in performance" when the migration is completed.
DX UNIVERSITY ---> Established in 2011, The DX University is a multi-media
program offering information, instruction and varied learning opportunities
for DXers and DXpeditioners alike. The DX University has presented in-person
sessions at several conventions.
The DX University website is part of the DXU program. The site has been re-
cently revamped, and presents ideas and techniques for DXers and DXpedi-
tioners aimed at improving operating skills and lessening the growing chaos
on the DX bands: https://dx-university.com/. The media include audio and
video files as well as articles and programs from previous in-person presen-
tations.

been added to the IOTA database and are available for QSO matching. Record-
holders who have made IOTA contacts in an IOTA contest after 2003, can claim
credit for them without submitting QSLs, provided that the contact details
match. Go to https://iota-world.org/, log in, select "Add Contest QSOs"
under the "My IOTA" tab, and choose either "Upload Contest Log" or "Manual
QSO Entry". The 2025 RSGB IOTA Contest complete results are available on
