Additional QRZ Information
Work is continuing on the installation and testing of the IECRO Ireland radio club automated stations. Some information has now
been added to QRZ.com regarding the services some of these stations will provide when fully operational.

EI2SNG will provide coverage for much of the waterways, thus it will be extremely useful for maritime mobile operations. This a
nalogue gateway will be connected worldwide via both AllStar and Echolink. An alternative set of digital voice services will be
 provided by EI7SND.

Some coverage predictions for the combined linked network of parrot stations has been made available online via the EI4SNR prof

The Continuing Fun of FUNcube
It is nearly difficult to believe it, although already the past five years seem to have flown by so quickly. On November 21 fiv
e years ago, FUNcube-1 was launched into space.

During these few years FUNcube has transmitted for nearly one hundred and fifty eight million seconds. On average, it has had 1
05 daily listeners.

Since the launch of FUNcube-1, additional FUNcube systems have been deployed in space. These were UKube-1, QB50p1 and Nayif-1.
Two further upcoming systems ESEO and JY1SAT will thus bring the total FUNcube payloads launched for STEM education and amateur
 radio to six.
