Welcome back to packet radio!

Probable the kernel or the ax25 package or both,
are causing the crashes, then they are not
suitable for our scope.

I'm using running kelnel 5.15.94 and ax25 set
from the unoffial site of VE7FET and all is steady
rock.
So, at first, you can try to compile and install
the ax25 kit from:

--------
#!/bin/bash
wget https://github.com/ve7fet/linuxax25/archive/master.zip
--------

and see if the failure is cured.
If not, the failures are on the kernel side .. and
so kernel or SUSE distribution must be downgraded.

For a big improvement try to install the QtTermTCP
from G8BPQ,running on X11 over the QT5 libraries

Eh eh, it's a bit difficult from Rome :)
