PLAIN
NOTE: the above forecasts are valid from 1230UT, 10 Oct 2017 until 12 Oct
2017
PREDICTIONS FOR 10 Oct 2017 10CM FLUX: 072 / AP: 001
PREDICTIONS FOR 11 Oct 2017 10CM FLUX: 070 / AP: 010
PREDICTIONS FOR 12 Oct 2017 10CM FLUX: 068 / AP: 007
COMMENT: Solar activity was at very low levels. There is no sunspots on
the
visible side of solar disk. No earth-directed coronal mass ejections (CMEs)

were observed in available coronagraphic imagery. Integral proton flux
for
protons with energies above 10 MeV remained at backgroundlevel. Quiet
flaring conditions are expected.
Solar wind speed gradually decreased from 375 till 310 km/s (DSCOVR). Bz

fluctuated between -3 and +3.5 nT, being mostly positive before 05UT. The

extension of a positive polar CH started its transit of the Central
Meridian early on 07 October and may influence the earth environment around

11 October. The geomagnetic field was very quiet both at planetary (NOAA)

and local (Dourbes) levels and is expected to remain so today. Unsettled

conditions can be expected from tomorrow (11 October), with a chance of
an
isolated active intervals.
TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 000, BASED ON 19 STATIONS.
