They know it just as well as the rest of us and like the rest of THEM are the
"get it while you can" crowd, the money grabbers. The world will indeed end
but not the planet, the world AS WE KNOW IT will surely end and much sooner
and by different means than those with heads buried in the sand think. You
don't need the word of God to be a prophet, many ancient short term
prophesies came true because those prophets simply were observant and a
little common sense told them what would happen if people didn't change their
ways. Of course they didn't and the prophesy came true! Has human nature
changed? Look around, anyone with half a brain knows just where we're headed
because critical non renewable natural resources are quickly drying up.
