Dave;

I concur with Gus.
Here's my thoughts in regard to BBS forwarding... and keep in mind these
are just my worthless opinions based on what I've seen work for almost 3
decades:

Use 44-net IPs. They're static and don't change unlike dyndys type hosts.

Use axIP instead of axUDP. UDP has no error correction. axIP does. Why
use something that's going to invite flaws?

do NOT use telnet for forwarding. In compressed mail, some compressed data
can contain control characters to instruct telnet to do weird things. The
telnet application was never meant to transport compressed amateur data,
so why do folks abuse it?

Jean is fine.
