Hi,
periodically, reviewing old and new softwares and, as
in this case the logs released by them, I want to recommend
the following tip/setup.
I don't remember if also the older (x)FBB versions released
the following indication, but don't care about it, files
concerned are always the same.
Just for training, during the maintenance, from the other
things, the following text is reported:

MAINTINF V7.0.11
FBB software MUST be stopped !!
10 callsigns
10 callsigns
Time check : 1 monthes
rejects <I3XTY> : Old callsign
10 callsigns ok
1 callsigns rejected

File inf.new created
You must now change inf.sys with inf.new !!

Now, go the (x)FBB directory in which reside the
files 'inf.sys' and 'inf.new' and look at them;
see the following:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3600 Mar 3 13:01 inf.new
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3600 Mar 3 14:20 inf.sys
and, if you find an equal dimension between the files
as above, no action is necessary.
If you find different values between the above files,
then STOP the FBB and,follow the change as indicated
on the above log retail and the restart FBB.
