Hi all you seafaring navigators,

So, the earliest surviving globe was made in 1492, why am I not surprised?
That's when Columbus discovered an island in the Americas and Martin Behaim, a
German navigator knew the old flat world planks became obsolete and made a
globe. Then Gerard Mercator sliced it up and made a flat map that confused a
ham that will remain nameless who pointed his beam east from New Jersey and
wondered why he lost the signal from England. When he wasn't looking I turned
it northeast and told him propagation just improved. LO firkin L!
