Scott;

The reason we switched from 2-Letter to 4-Letter Continent identifiers was
because some continents have been defined within ISO-3166 as top level
domains such as you point out in your Africa list. Nambia is "dot"NA already.
The end of an address - .na

Country / Territory 2 Letter 3 Letter ccTLD(Country Domain Extension)
Namibia                         NA      NAM     .na

I wasn't aware you live in Nambia using .NA in your address -
just as I see many others south of the equator from me using .sa
claiming they were in Saudi Arabia.

Hopefully now you can understand why it was decided that using a 4-letter
continent code on packet radio was made.
